Linden Lane offers mountain views from the house balcony, a pastoral setting, delightful water features,  and complete privacy.  Within easy driving distance to the DC metro area and all the best features of country living in Rappahannock County.   There is plenty of space for gardens, livestock, fishing in the two ponds, or indulging in whatever country pursuits tempt your fancy, but the manageable acreage is ideal for a low maintenance weekender lifestyle.

The grounds consists of 50 acres of gently sloping land above the Jordan River.  The land is approximately 50% open and 50% wooded. Open land is in hayfields and lawns.  There is no fencing.  Woodlands are mostly hardwoods of medium timber quality and there are trails leading through the woodlands to pond and pond house.   There is a small pond and stream.  The nearby Jordan River is quite scenic and has good flow and several rocky outcroppings.   The Blue Ridge Mountains are visible from the house and the western property perimeter.

Location:  Linden Lane is located off of North Poes Road in Rappahannock County east of the village of Flint Hill.    Linden Lane is 12 miles from Rt. 66 (Marshall exit 27) or 25 miles (Ft. Royal exit).  Approximately 65 miles from Washington, DC.  Travel time to downtown DC is 1 Hour 30 minutes (in low traffic situations).  Approximately 60 minutes to Dulles International Airport.  1 hour 15 minutes to Charlottesville.  15 minutes to Warrenton, 20 minutes to Front Royal.   Linden Lane is in Old Dominion Hounds foxhunting territory and part of the large North Poes Road riding trail network, which offers miles of bridle and walking trails.
